The Harmony School System is opening a NEW CAMPUS in Carrollton, TX. The new campus, Harmony School of Innovation - Dallas, is located at 1024 W. Rosemeade Parkway Carrollton, TX 75007. Harmony School of Innovation - Dallas will open its doors for students in the upcoming 2009-2010 school year for K-8 grades.

| HSA-Dallas Summer Enrichment Program |
Dear Parents/Students,
During the summer time, between August 3rd - 15th, HSA-Dallas will have a Summer Enrichment Program. This Program will be wonderfully fun and educational classes will be offered in addition to sports and camp.
Classes: SAT/PSAT, robotics, Science Olympiad Activities: swimming,basketball, soccer, volleyball Fee: $5/Day & $15 Nonrefundable Deposit

| Senior Recognition Day, 2009 |
Last Wednesday, May 20th, we recognized our 14 graduating seniors with a recognition day and parent appreciation dinner. We honored our seniors with short biographies about each and heard inspirational speeches from our Valedictorian, Adnan Bajramovic and our Salutatorian Leonel Cuellar. In the evening, our senior students honored their parents with personal speeches to each while enjoying a dinner with fellow classmates, teachers, family and friends. We wish the best to our first graduating class; Abigail Aguirre, Adnan Bajramovic, Leonel Cuellar, Nichelle Dawkins, Haneen Elhallaq, Jameela English, Carlos Guardiola, Bryan Hernandez, Ishatou Loppy, Anwar Said Nazar, Surab Said Nazar, Omer Teymur, Karen Torres, Aaron Villalobos.

| Language Arts Fair 2009 |
On Friday, May 22, 2009 HSA-Dallas had its first Language Arts Fair. 7th-12th Grade students participated either with their own stories or book report. It was great to see our all students presenting their projects, boards and thanks to the hard work of some of our judges, teachers and students who did great job.

| Summer Reading Assignment for Students Entering Grades seven through twelve |
Reading opens the doorway to knowledge and discovery. In order to encourage our students to read, below you will find the summer reading lists and assignment for students entering grades four through twelve. All students will choose one book from the list for their grade level next year and complete the summer reading assignment. English teachers will collect this assignment during the first week of the 2009-20010 academic year. If you have questions, please contact your language arts teacher or school adminsitration. Enjoy your summer and have fun reading!

Did you know that our junior honor student Erica Onwuegbuchu earned internship program from STARS? And she is going to participate in SRP (Summer Research Program) which is going to happen in Southwestern Medical Center.
What is STARS PROGRAM? STARS ( Science Teacher Access to Resources at Southwestern) was developed in 1991 to improve the quality of science education in North Central Texas.
The GOALS of the STARS PROGRAM are to:
- increase science awarness,
- stimulate an appreciation of health-related careers,
- provide ongoing support for science teachers and students
